Dad's been trying to use my obsession with the 50 states to "wean me off the cheesy, cloying crap put out by Raffi and his ilk." (Dad's words-- I personally think Raffi is a musical visionary.) Anyways, he's started to put together a mix of songs with the names of states in it. I'm a little skeptical that Alabama really is as sweet as the song seems to indicate, but I do enjoy singing the one about California. See if you can sing along:
